I am Bodine van der Kogel, an abstract artist from The Netherlands. I’ve always loved creating since I was a child. I was that girl who was always sketching, always imagining, always drifting into her own little world. A world where everything was softer, deeper and a little more magical.

And even though life brings obstacles, even though things go wrong, I’ve learned that the magic of creating doesn’t disappear. It shouldn’t. There’s always space for joy, for expression, for playful exploration.

That little girl in the photo is proof of it. Even with a stamp stuck between me and my sketchbook, I was still smiling. Still drawing. Still lost in my own universe.

Creating art is my way of choosing freedom over perfection. My art carries that same energy: elegant, expressive, intuitive. Pieces that shift a room not just visually, but emotionally, inviting you to feel, to breathe, to return to your own inner world.
